Make-It-Happen Monday: Mini-Comics with Max Riffner
Monday, June 3, 2-3:30 p.m.
Learn the secrets of a comic book genius when local creator Max Riffner visits Teen Central. Using only paper, staples, and a ton of creativity, Max will help you construct your very own miniature comic. Turn your world into a comic and let everyone know how imaginative you are!

Summer Art Daze: Basic Sculpture: Inside-Out
Tuesday, June 4, 2-3:30 p.m., REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
Imaginary creature or realistic figure, gain the skills needed to sculpt your vision. We’ll cover the basics of design, armatures, and how to transform your 2D concept into 3D reality. Learn how to design and build a fantastical sculpture.

Make-It-Happen Monday: Stars & Spacecrafts with the UNO Mallory Kountze Planetarium
Monday, June 10, 2-3 p.m.
Bring the galaxy closer to you when a local space expert visits Teen Central. Explore different concepts like stars, planets, and constellations with a former NASA employee. It’s almost like going into space!

Summer Art Daze: Layer by Layer Sculpture Design
Tuesday, June 11, 2-3:30 p.m.
Finish your fantastical sculpture from Week 1 using paint and various mixed media. Or, if you weren’t lucky enough to attend Week 1, learn how to turn a plain old plastic bottle into a cute and cuddly or creepy-crawly creature.
